Welcome to Nevermore Cabins
The Nevermore cabins are all located within 40' of the water's edge and enclosed by natural northern woodland. Well separated, they afford all the privacy you may want. Car parking space in front of each cabin.

The internal finishing touches are with larch, mahogany, and local slate. Windows and doors are double glazed throughout.
Water is drawn from our own wells; hot and cold water throughout (electrical storage tank)and gas central heating (thermostat controlled).
Each cabin is equipped with the following: woodstove; AGA 4-burner cooker & oven (gas and electric); refrigerator; clothes washer/dryer combo; microwave; satellite TV; DVD player; Bose sound system; gas barbeque; and, of course, with all modern appliances such as coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, etc.

Fishermans Hut
Welcoming you into this cabin are the craftsman-fitted pine logs of the hand railing and porch. This is our smallest cabin, a non-smoking, one bedroom log home with a small but very pretty bathroom. Don't let the small outside appearance fool you, there is enough room for even honeymooners to get away from each other should the mood strike.
There is a sense of rustic luxury with high class furnishings, a well-appointed bedroom with queen size bed, a custom built kitchen with black slate top and antique fittings. A dining area with local handmade cherry furniture, living area with designer armchairs,pull-out sofa, and a small woodstove is tucked into a slate covered corner. Just perfect for watching a DVD, listening to a CD on the Bose sound system, or just watching the moods of the lake through the large patio windows.
The walls are dominated by a large mounted fish caught in Florida in the 1920's by the original owners of the camp, flanked by artful photographs from the owner's sailing journeys around Iceland and the Faroe Islands (it's a fisherman's cabin, remember). Several pieces of original artwork, local and international, complete the wall decorations. The high class lighting fixtures complete the feeling of rustic comfort.
Out the back, a very generous, fully covered deck presents beautiful views of the lake and the mountain ranges in summer, winter, and autumn. The distance to the shoreline is mere 40 feet, and due to it's distance from the other cabins the Fisherman's Hut provides absolute privacy.
A gas barbeque stands on the grounds just beyond the deck, and a small sitting dock for even closer communion with the lake is being constructed during this summer. On calm days, a canoe or small runabout may be safely moored here.
The cabin is intended for 2 people, but will accommodate 3 with the pull-out sofa. If you like the sound of this, check availability and make a reservation with Nancy.
